My Female Dog Is in Heat…How to Stop Male Dog From Barking?

My female dog is in heat and the male dog wont stop barking. Its annoying at night and im pretty sure he is bothering the neighbors. what can i do to stop him from whining and barking while she is in heat?

*i need ideas to make him stop barking right now while she’s in heat
i dont want any answers saying to spay/nueter the dogs or i will Report Abuse as i already stated i do NOT want any of those answers*

What to Do if the Dog Won’t Stop Barking?

I’m dog/bird/house sitting for the next week and I’ve been here two days and the dog will not be quiet except for when it is asleep. The owners have used everything from shock collars to doggy training school but the dog will not stop barking. I heard that it barked until the shock collar was out of batteries while they were at work and the dog wore the skin on its neck down.

It has prescribed doggy valium 100mg, but that does seem to do anything at all. she only stops every few minutes to breath heavily. She barks while wearing a muzzle too, it comes out a bit quieter but it still echoes thought the house, and she can’t be outdoors because she makes too much noise and people call the police.

So my question is, is there anything I can do or am I bound for a week of headaches?

I’m dogsitting for 3 days (fri,sat,and sun). we ran with the dog for little bit today and he went #2 and #1. Then when we brought him home, he peed on the floor. He pees when he’s excited. We locked him in the cage and kitchen for a while, and he started barking. Is there any way to stop him from barking in urinating for these 3 days? He is 7 months old. He also has a pee pad, but he refuses to use it and goes on the carpet instead.

How to Stop Dog From Barking and Jumping at the Door When Someone Rings the Door Bell?
