I have two dogs, a pitbull/retreiver mix and black lab/retreiver mix, and the one is about 5 years old while the other is getting close to being 8. The main problem is that they have been raised in a household where there were hardly any visitors besides the mailman and a few friends etc. Now that we have moved, we have more people over and there is more excitement around the house. My two dogs do not stop barking. And they continue even if you tell them to stop and such, they go on and on. Eventually, if someone is in the house long enough, they will stop barking and rest…but then as soon as that person gets up to get a drink both dogs jump to their feet and start loudly barking once again.
