Dog Barking Solutions – the Fast and Easy Approach to Stop Dog Barking

If youâre looking for dog barking solutions that can put a stop to your dogâs barking problem, then you really need to keep reading this article. Youâre about to discover a proven tactic to stop dog barking. After reading this, be sure to put the method to use as soon as possible. The sooner you put it to use, the better the results are going to be. No more listening to your dogâs incessant barks. Letâs zero in on the meat so we can get this problem out of the way double quick time! You see, Iâve studied number of comprehensive online training courses over the years and I know quite a number of effective dog barking solutions. The following is my favorite method. The S&S commandThe above stands for speak and shush. Itâs imperative that you teach your pooch these 2 commands in order to put a stop to that annoying dog barking habit. First you must determine a specific element that would normally trigger his barking behavior. Â This could be anything. Perhaps itâs the presence of a visitor, sound of a doorbell, a specific toy etc. Now, say âspeakâ to your dog and use hand signal that imitates a speaking motion so that your dog would understand when heâs suppose to bark. And then use that specific element to make your dog bark. Ok heâs barking now! Let your dog bark for a few seconds then give your dog a wonderful praise. If you repeat these steps often enough, you dog would soon relate the hand signal and the word âspeakâ with barking. Now letâs go over the KEY section of this stop dog barking methodYou can learn all the dog barking solutions you want but without this vital command, putting a stop to your dog barking problem may just remain a pipedream. Iâm referring to the shush command. You tell your dog when to bark now, you have train him to keep quite on cue. This is very easy to do and hereâs the lowdown. When your dog barks (after following your cue above), tell him to âshushâ using a gentle yet firm tone of voice. When you do this, make sure you hold a small treat in your hand. Keep your hand closed and donât show the treat to your dog just yet. When you command him to shush, present your closed fist to his nose. Now, heâll be quiet just so he could sniff your fist. Â If he stays quiet for several seconds, praise and present the treat to your dog. Do this often and your dog would soon understand that the command âquietâ means that he should stop barking. Cool huh? There are more advanced dog barking solutions out there. This one is fairly basic but still highly effective however.
