need more details…I used to have neighbors that called the police even when my dogs didn’t bark…now that they moved out, I can live in peace….you may need to move to a place where pets aren’t allowed because dogs do bark and kids do yell…….

  2. smsgreaves says:

call your local council and tell them about it. It’s a public disturbance and they’ll go talk to the owners.

  3. Metalfan15 says:

shoot it and make it look like an accident…haha

  4. Jeremy M says:

talk to your neighbors…maybe they don’t know the dog is disturbing you. if they do know check with your local animal control to find out what the noise ordinance is for dogs. it is possible that the city can order your neighbor to resolve the situation or be fined.

  5. dburger89 says:

shoot it, or throw chocolate to it

  6. wildchild says:

try getting a female dog for it.if that does not work feed it

  7. KWCHAMBER says:

Give it a jar of peanut butter

  8. lambtonliner says:

good luck hard to do without making them hate you

  9. djeladio479 says:

    give him a kiss…

  10. J.D. says:

Throw him some white loaf bread with peanut butter on it.
Sticks to the roof of the mouth.
You might also consider giving it some “hushpuppies”…
that’s how they actually got their name.

Dogs bark I know its annoying but there is really no way to keep them quiet unless they are your own and if they get really out of hand you can try spraying them in the face with a misting water bottle but unless its your dog I wouldn’t try it your neighbors might get mad

  12. Eric says:

Throw it some peanut butter smothered over some bread when nobody is looking.

  13. Dr. Dee says:

Throw them a few dog treats or something. Maybe even a ham.

  14. mona says:

    shoot it

    I’ve been through this hell.

Does the dog only bark when the neighbor isn’t home? You could speak to the neighbor about the problem to see about resolving it; they may not even know it’s a problem. That first step is necessary.

Is it inside barking when the neighbor’s not home? And does it go on all day? You can either contact animal control or, depending on the laws where you are, file a noise complaint with the police. (Of course, after speaking to the neighbor and not getting any help.)

Is it outside? Do you have access to a hose? My solution finally came down to spraying the dog with the hose when it barked.

I also offered to buy a bark collar for the dog (which issues a mild, harmless tingle to the dog when it barks) to help train it not to bark.

I wish you the best of luck!

ANTIFREEZE!!!! just kidding. have you tried talking to your neighbor? they may not realize it is a problem. If they are ignorant, and act stupid about it, then call the police if it is at an indecent hour, most towns, cities have noise ordinances after 10pm or later so they can issue a citation. If that don’t work try this, every time the dog barks spray him with your waterhose, if you can get to him. Good luck I used to be an animal control officer and I know how annoying ignorant pet owners can be!!!!!

  17. rocker says:

pour glue into its doggy bowl….!

  18. sixteensgrl says:

Just talk to them and if it doesnt change then I am pretty sure you’ll have to move or hope that they do soon….
It’s a difficult situation if the dogs don’t cause any harm other than noise then your kinda stuck without many options…. Talk to them nicely and see what kind of solutions you can get them to come up with. good luck!! I feel bad for you.
