No Bark Collars
she is only doing her job in protecting you and your household it is in her natuer to do this and no matter what you do it will not stop unless you beat her and that is not an option its all a part of doing her job to let you know someone might be there the barking is a warning for both you and whoever is at the door
You might be missing something which should be noticed by you about kitty. Please observe her carfully when she repeats such a task, you might be able to resolve this problem on your own.
Good Luck
Maybe she thought someone was at the door and was trying to get in so she warnedyou that someone was there even if they wasnt. My dogs will let us know if a strange car is coming down our road. We live on a private road and there is only 4 houses in all and if a car comes down it that doesnt belong back here they all 4 start barking which I am glad of now a days.
Instead of just trying to stop the behavior you don’t like, think about training the dog to do something you do like instead of barking when there is a sound at the door. You do this by rewarding the behavior you want, in other words you train the dog to behave the way you want. If you don’t know how to do this, find a trainer or read some books.
