How Do U Get a Neighbors Dog to STOP Barking if They Deny It Barks, Dont Respond 2 U, and Police Do Nothing?

2 dogs, people stay home all day but when they go out there is constant barking, other neighbors complained to police and now dog owner is making their life a living hell (screaming at boy, hiding their toys, dog poops on their lawn etc). I am pregnant and need my sleep and calm time…i dont need to be thinking about murdering dogs! PLEASE HELP!

Buy some dog chew bones and throw them over the fence when they start barking. I had the same problem and that worked. If someone walked by and they started barking it was only for a moment and then they went back to chewing on the bones.
feed them an anti depressant in a hot dog. Worked for me!!!!!
Call the ordinance dept of your town. Look in your blue pages. Or, you could go to the courthouse (this is an extreme) and file a civil complaint where you would both go in front of a judge.
Get a good old fashioned tape recorder and record the dog.
We have had this problem and I feel for you. I have also wished for the death of many dogs…actually it’s not their fault. It’s the owner’s fault.
What we did was we got a big box fan and put it on high speed and it blocked out the noise from the dogs. It basically blocked out the noise from everything which was great! It doesnt sound like you can do much about your very inconsiderate neighbors but you can control what you do inside your home.
i know the feeling . we went through that with our neighbor, a very sweet elder . but her 3 mutts were terrors. they would bark even if they saw a paper blowing in the yard . it was effecting our sleep, we were getting fussy behind them dogs. the thought of giving them chocolate , came into my mind , being that chocolate is a deadly toxic for them and could kill them , but annoying as they were , we couldn’t . they were 3 cuties , but barking maniacs . finally, the city send them a letter that if they did not do something that they will have to come to court and pay a much high fine for each dog , or have the dogs picked up . she had her other sister move them to the other side of her house . it was much better for us . probably driving crazy the other neighbors , but we were resting better . don’t give up on the city . somebody got to listen or call your TV station and bring it to the public . good luck !
People power is required here! If this neighbour is behaving in an anti social manner by not taking control of his pet whilst out of the house and he retaliates by acting childish then tackle him in numbers. If this naeighbour gets confronted by several of you at the same time then he cant pick on individuals to make a misery of. Even if he does then you will have witnesses to his behaviour.
quit being a jerk. get a dog of your own.
