Call the animal control in your area. Contact the police and make a complaint. Talk to the neighbors.
we threw water balloons at them from our deck. we live behind them. akdjlaskd.
Unfortunately, yes, call the police. Police should issue warning to owner, then start fining him/her/then after the 1st or 2nd repeat visit. Eventually, owner will have to do something.
If you think they are reasonable people (most neighbors aren’t, which is why the rich pay to live far away from others), then you could try talking to them first. Of course, this will remove all doubt as to who is calling the police later, whereas if you just call the police, they might not know which neighbor called the police.
kill him jk umm sit out side with a stick when it barks throw stick
why do we have guns?
three words, air soft gun
Bark back at it.. sike. I mean its common sense.. just go talk to the neighbors and see if u can try to work somethin out with them .
get a bigger dog that eats that dog!
you could buy a hollow bone at petsmart ($5) and pack it with peanut butter. that could occupy him for a while. or dognap him and slip a bark collar on while your neighbors are sleeping
We used to have the same problem. We kept a sock full of change next to our back porch. Whenever the dog was barking madly next to the privacy fence I chucked it at the fence. It scared the dog and eventually it learned to associate it’s barking with that scary noise.
There are legal and nonlegal ways in every situation. But if its generally a yappy dog, go talk to the owners in a civilized manner. Dogs will be dogs and there is nothing you can do there. Humans on the other hand, can be persuaded.
i have the same problem and what i do it turn my spot light onto the dog or i just tune the sprinklers on to get the dog wet. other then that the only thing you can do it talk to the owner.
Well you can talk to the neighbor about it hopefully that will fix things you have another option, you can call the police about a noise violation, but that’s a real jerk thing to do in my opinion dogs bark, personally I think you should try and deal with it if at all possible.
I would really talk to the neighbors. Sometimes people really get used to noises and don’t realize how much their dog is bothering other people. I have seen this issue get nasty (all the way to court) in my own neighborhood, and I would really just make a call, a visit, or even leave a note asking politely that the neighbors do something. They can get the dog training, a humane training collar, etc. Give them a chance. They really may not know how much of a nuisance the dog is.
If you don’t want the neighbors dog to be taken away by animal control another thing you can do is purchase an ultra sonic bark control. It is fairly inexpensive and can be bought at numerous pet stores. You can place it outside near the neighbors house and any time the dog barks it will go off. It’s humane and the dog doesn’t get taken away.
Contact Animal Control, they will go and speak to your
neighbors, and let them know if they don’t train or quiet
their misbehaving pooch, they will get sited….I’m sure they will make an effort to comply if not they will get a fat citation and noone likes to give up their$$$$$when all they have to do is be responsible, considerate pet owners and neighbors
Call the local animal control. After the neighbor gets a few citations they’ll shut the dog up. Your neighbor won’t know who called animal control, especially if you have several neighbors around. That’s what I had to do. Someone had several dogs that would start barking around 5:am on Sat./Sunday mornings…drove me crazy. You think the owners would respect the other people in the neighborhood.
good luck
the barking is usually due to boredom…when we lived next to one of those dogs we saw that they tied it up outside and then just left it….so after a few months we found it a new home and approached the neighbors about it and they released the dog to us…we actually paid them a dollar for the dog….he’s doing great in his new home four years later.
call the animal control in ur area and tell them that u have an issue with ur neighbors dog cause they r barkin too much.
